Bring Christmas to Filipino Children
Like other Catholic countries, Christmas time is the highlight of year in the Philippines calendar. This year, Kaya will be working alongside the community centre to bring a special Christmas to the children of the area who have so little.
We are recruiting volunteers to work with us to give these children something to look forward to this December in a 2-4 week project. Activities will include helping to organise community Christmas parties, helping the children rehearse their various singing and dancing routines for each of the parties, and provide assistance in the ongoing community work carried out at the centre.
The project runs from December 4th to January 4th with a minimum 2 week stay, and includes all accommodation, 2 meals per day, in-country transport and orientations as well as some language classes and group activities at weekends. The project covers a wide range of activities so if you have a specific area of interest you may be able to specialise.
