OUR INTERN AND VOLUNTEER IN AUSTRALIA PROJECTS

Experience the magnificence of this island continent through its diverse dramatic mountains, lush rainforests, endless deserts and bustling cities.

Volunteer in Australia

Australia is one of the most developed countries in the world, but faces unprecedented environmental threats. With hundreds of native vegetation and wildlife species, it is crucial that initiatives are taken to protect the landscape’s future. Thus, the country has invested a lot of time and funds to ensure the ongoing sustainability and future of its reefs, national parks, forests and deserts. Volunteers focus on environmental conservation projects, which vary throughout the year. In the past, our volunteers have been part of environmental monitoring, heritage restoration, tree planting, endangered species protection and habitat conservation. These projects are perfect for anyone with a passion for environmental conservation.

Our intern and volunteer in Australia projects are located in various locations throughout Australia: New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, Southern Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland. Your free time activities will be depend on the project’s location, so be prepared to travel through dramatic mountains, lush rainforests, endless deserts and/or bustling cities. Wherever you are, make sure to try the classic staple of Australian cuisine – fish and chips!

We recommend adding time before or after your volunteer in Australia project as there is much to explore. Snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef, hike through the Blue Mountains or catch a game of Australian Rules Football. Check out the country’s cultural hubs- Sydney and Melbourne- home to some of the best restaurants, shopping, theatres, and music halls. Both cities are situated along the coast, but boast their own distinct history and beauty.

Become an environmental conservation volunteer in Australia and help preserve the natural beauty and exotic wildlife of this diverse island continent.
