KENYA

Famed for spectacular wildlife, Mount Kenya and the vitality of its people, Kenya is an awe inspiring place for volunteers and interns to spend their time abroad. You can find yourself immersed in the Massai Mara and walking along the incredible beaches.

Intern & Volunteer in Kenya

During your time as a volunteer in Kenya, you will work directly with people from the Masai Mara community, whether that be through wildlife research or as a community volunteer. No matter what initiative you took part in in Kenya, you’ll be dreaming to go back and experience more of it’s culture.

The Masai Mara is considered one of the finest safari destinations in all of Africa. As a volunteer or intern in Kenya, you can use your free time to take part in locally run excursions to take full advantage of the location. If seeing the Big 5 from the ground isn’t quite thrilling enough for you, then perhaps consider doing it from the air on a balloon safari! Not only will you get an amazing view of Kenya’s plains, but between July and November, you’ll be in the ideal place to witness the great migration too.

Your evenings after project work will be spent under a sky with a seemingly impossible number of stars. By sampling local food and listening to the animals around the plains, you’ll get a feel for what life in a rural Kenyan community is really like and you’ll be able to digest the day’s experiences.

Through your community and conservation work in Kenya, you’ll balance the interests of humans and animals and have a positive, sustainable impact in the Masai Mara. Join us on a volunteer program or internship in Kenya now!
