There have been quite a few new additions to our already diverse range of projects and internships recently. In fact, we’ve had so many, that we’ve decided to compile them all into this blog post for you!
New projects
High Impact Outreach Community project in Ghana – This project involves improving the lives of local children in four ways: teaching them literacy skills, developing their computer skills, helping to build a classroom, and train locals to maintain a vegetable garden over the course of 10 days.
Semester Study Abroad and Service in Peru – This project commences in 2018 on two separate sessions. You can combine your studies with volunteering abroad in Peru for a whole semester, earning credits towards you degree. You’ll spend 4 months studying in Cusco, while volunteering one day a week within the community.
Healthcare, Community & Hospital Volunteering in Kenya – Join this eye opening project and share your knowledge and experience of healthcare with locals in places such as day-care centres, schools, and public health centres.
Summer Study Abroad and Service in Peru – Fill your summer 2018 with amazing experiences on this project based in Peru. After completing five weeks of classes, where you can earn up to 8 credits towards your degree, you will be able to volunteer with the local community for up to 2 weeks.
New internships
Dentistry Internship in Ghana – This internship is perfect for those studying dentistry or who are fully qualified. You’ll be able to assist local practitioners and observe how dental treatments are performed in a hospital based in Accra – a unique way to launch your dental career.
Speech Therapy Internship in Peru – This internship is perfect if you want to gain experience in speech therapy. You’ll be helping local children with different communication disorders, including autism, intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy, to develop their speech skills.
Medical and Healthcare Internship in Vietnam – On this internship, you can work in either Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi where you can focus on a variety of special areas such as critical care, acupuncture, nursing, or optometry.
NGO Business Development Internship in Vietnam – This internship is perfect if you want to develop your business knowledge. You can get involved in areas such market research, strategic business, marketing or project management, whilst enjoying the beautiful Vietnamese culture.
Tourism and Enterprise Development Internship in Tanzania – With tourism on the rise, this internship will enable you to use your writing skills, business skills and passion for travel to help locals drive forward sustainable ecotourism.
