Testimonial
“My greatest achievement was balancing my role as a friend, mentor, teacher and supervisor, while still being effective and loving towards the girls living in the safe house. Watching them enjoy and learn from a workshop I organized or a class I taught was always very satisfying. Developing meaningful relationships with them and earning their trust was also a huge accomplishment. I was also able to earn college credits doing work I loved, that will help me get into a social work program for grad school, and that changed me as a person for the better. It was the best way I could have possible spent my last semester of college.”
