Calling all animal lovers and adventure seekers
The world is finally opening back up (hurrah!) and we have some incredible wildlife rescue and rehabilitation projects in Zimbabwe, perfect for those looking to learn more about animal management and work with some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. Want to know more?
What is the info session about?
Kaya is hosting an information session on April 27th at 5PM BST, to offer insight into how these projects run, and to discuss what it means to volunteer responsibly and sustainably with vulnerable animals. It will be hosted jointly by Tom, Kaya’s placement manager, and Kevin, the project leader at the wildlife sanctuary in Zimbabwe. With their combined experience, expertise and passion for wildlife conservation, they will be able to answer all of your burning questions!
The session is a great opportunity to learn all about our pre-vet and wildlife orphanage volunteer placements, covering everything from the history of the sanctuary (one of the oldest in Zimbabwe!), to your day-to-day schedule as a conservation volunteer to Kaya’s application process. And of course, there will be time for a Q&A at the end.
We know that choosing a volunteering abroad project can be tricky. There are so many options, and picking the right one for you isn’t always easy. But Kaya is here to help guide you through.
