Ecuador boasts a multitude of contrasting landscapes. Indeed, in just one day, you can travel from black water lagoons of the Amazon basin, across glaciated Andean volcanoes, through dense tree canopies in the cloud forest to arrive at the Pacific coast.

Quito is a city of approximately 3 million people. Due to the expansion of the urban areas, the landscape has drastically changed and expanded.

Quito was declared a UNECSO world Heritage centre in 1978, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Andean mountains and its active volcanos. During your downtime, you will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant capital City of Quito with its museums, art scene and and many interesting places such as its colonial centre and stunning 16th-century cathedral. Your “home away from home” is located in a parish just outside of Quito and only a few steps away from the “Middle of the World”. You will have to spend your first 10 days in quarantine at the house to protect yourself and others. Just before the quarantine is completed, you will be required to undertake another PCR test, so you can go and explore the city and your surroundings.
