Help with the Spring babies in Zimbabwe’s longest standing animal rescue sanctuary

Help care for the baby animals at the sanctuary in ZimbabweIf you love animals and have have available time in the next few months, our wildlife sanctuary in Zimbabwe is desperate for your help. The Spring has brought in an influx of young wildlife which have been abandoned, orphaned or are sick, and may need round-the clock attention. As volunteer, being able to assist the team in providing that much-needed care will also expose you to the magnificent wildlife of Africa in a unique hands-on experience. We are looking for volunteers with all sorts of backgrounds -whether it is to feed and care for the animals in the infirmary and clean out the enclosures or, for those with skills, to provide veterinary support, help with captures and carry our behavioural research, we can really use your help.

We have some amazing tales from our recent volunteers. One, skilled in acupuncture has worked with veterinary specialists to provide vital physiotherapy to Oranje, the lion cub who was born with weak legs, who is improving every day and now has a real spring in his step. And in a great success story,  Roxy, the leopard cub found in a snare 7 years ago has recently given birth to two healthy cubs, which we are helping her to rear.

With over 200 mouths to feed and care for, we really need your help. So sign up for our Bulawayo wildlife sanctuary project today.
