Role of the Medical Intern

About the Location
The Medical Internship in Jamaica is based within an impoverished community around Kingston. You will surely fall in love with the vibrant city and its very welcoming and kind inhabitants.
Accommodation
During your placement, you will be sharing in a shared air conditioned bedroom in a volunteer house overlooking the City.During your free time, you will have the chance to enjoy the views from the many communal areas, or simply take a walk in the surrounding residential areas.
What to do in your spare time
During your free time, we recommend you plan some time to visit the famous Blue Mountain, its coffee farms and discover its beautiful fauna and flora surrounding you! You might also take advantage of the clear water and white sand beaches. Treasure Beach being a popular one where the locals have taken control and opened low key hotels and guesthouses, ensuring your dollars are put back in the community!

- Duration: 4-12 weeks
- Cost: £2621 / $4091 for 4 weeks
£490 / $765 for additional weeks after that - Requirements: Age 18+
- Location: Kingston, Jamaica
- Working hours: Monday - Fridays, 4 to 5 hours a day
- Project availability: All year round
- Arrival day: Saturday or Sunday
