Role of the volunteer

You should have completed your first year at university on a relevant course or have some experience in the area of proposal writing, teaching or marketing. You must be flexible, patient and able to work in a multi cultural team. Please bring a laptop with you to document your learning during your internship.

Chiang Mai is a culturally diverse destination and one that is proving to be very popular with international tourists. The city itself is surrounded by a wall and a moat and contains an old city where a weekend market is held. Here, along with the night bazaar, you can explore and buy all sorts of things from souvenirs to everyday wears. Trekking in the hills is a popular activity in the area, as is attending a one day course at one of the local cooking schools where you can learn to prepare your favourite Thai dish as well as experiencing the delights of a local Thai market
