Where will I work in Thailand?
All NGO internships in Thailand are located in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai and the surrounding area. Chiang Mai is a culturally diverse destination and one that is proving to be very popular with international tourists. The city itself is surrounded by a wall and a moat and contains an old city where a weekend market is held. Here, along with the night bazaar, you can explore and buy all sorts of things from souvenirs to everyday wears. Trekking in the hills is a popular activity in the area, as is attending a one day course at one of the local cooking schools where you can learn to prepare your favourite Thai dish as well as experiencing the delights of a local Thai market
