“In my 5 weeks volunteering I managed to see a great number of cases and the doctors are very good at explaining things to us and letting us watch them. I have learnt a huge amount and it was good to form a relationship with the doctors so you could learn what they really thought about the hospital and the patients. I think it would be invaluable experience to anyone who is looking to apply to medical school.”
