Gwen’s South Africa Experience

“Being an intern in the Partnerships and Communications department was truly a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed being part of such a supportive, talented, passionate team. I was able to work on a variety of different tasks in social media, marketing, administration, writing and researching, and I was given quite a large amount of responsibility. There’s definitely a lot of lessons I can take from this experience into workplaces in the future. It was a pleasure to work with people who love what they do, are good at it, and are always happy to chat to you about what it is that they do. Cape Town is also such an exciting, beautiful and inspirational place to live. From the hipster coffee shops to wild braais, from the stunning views from Table Mountain to thought-provoking Robben Island, there are a million things to do and see.”
