Human Rights & Social Justice Internships
As a Human Rights and Social Justice intern with Kaya, you can join a variety of organizations that are fighting injustice, tackling important issues affecting different members of our communities, and working towards social change.
We have placements within organizations tackling issues such as Human trafficking, Domestic Violence, Gender Equality, Poverty, Discrimination of marginalized communities, Migration, Access to Education, healthcare and more.
If you are studying in the fields of Law, Criminology, Social Justice, Political Science, Sociology, international development, international relations, global studies, and other topics related to human rights, then we have some great internship options that you can choose from.
There is a great need for qualitative and quantitative researchers, legal scholars, and those studying policy and social politics. We have placements in advocacy groups, organizations supporting individuals affected by the issues, government departments, and aid organizations.
By joining a Human rights and Social justice placement, you not only gain valuable experience working on important issues but also see firsthand the realities of working in the complex world of human rights.
