For volunteers or interns wishing to visit the spectacular Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap during your time abroad, please be aware of cultural appropriateness and that there is a dress code to follow. Don’t wear revealing clothing. Visitors need to be “respectfully dressed”, i.e. covered shoulders and chest, and long pants, skirts or shorts (covering the knee). Visitors are frequently turned away from temples when wearing revealing clothing.
