“What task on your program did you most enjoy?
I enjoyed weighing babies and taking their measurements. It provided me with a sense of fulfillment, as I was ensuring babies health growth and development.
What was your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is being able to provide care for the people in Livingstone to help improve their health.
Did you feel you made a difference?
Yes, I feel I made a difference as I even saw a results of my work for wound patients I provided care for.
What advice would you give future participants?
I will say that the program is a great opportunity. They shouldn’t take it for granted and should take their volunteer work serious as it will help them in a future.
What was your most memorable moment?
The most memorable moment is learning about Zambia traditional marriage where every volunteer participated at the event. It was fun as we got to see how marriage is performed in their country.”
