Volunteer Bio:My name is Stewart Thomson, I am from Balclutha, New Zealand. I have two children and three grandchildren I am an ex farmer. I work for Otago regional council which is responsible for river control etc.
What task on your project did you most enjoy? Butterfly and bat identification
Do you feel you made a difference? Yes
What advice would you give future participants? Support your fellow volunteers and learn from them in which for some is a challenging environment
What was your most memorable moment? Seeing a fer de Lance snake
