Art & Design Internships

Join Kaya as a creative arts intern and utilize your artistic talents to motivate children to learn and express themselves, or to help organizations communicate through the visual arts. As an artist or design student, there are a host of placements where your creative skills and talents can be put to work. You can gain valuable experience in the field and gain an international perspective on the visual arts.

All of Kaya’s art and design internships place students within organizations that are working to support social development or environmental work, so your placement can also make a positive impact in the world. Art and design students can select from a range of internships around the world.

Work with art education: Help to run art classes and workshops for children and youth at different stages of their education. On children’s art projects, you can run art classes or help improve school buildings through the creation of educational murals. For those interested in working with adults, livelihood activities are a great option.

Participate in art therapy: Join initiatives that work with youth affected by trauma, people with disabilities, and those who seek refuge through art

Produce visual art for communications: Help NGOs communicate their messages through murals, posters, presentation materials, exhibits, leaflets, websites, and more.

If you have a creative vision and enjoy sharing your skills, these internships are perfect for you. Come and be a part of a creative arts project and have an unforgettable experience sharing your ideas and techniques and inspiring others.
