Sports Science and Recreation Internships
Join a Kaya internship in Sports, movement, recreation or tourism and work within a host of interesting initiatives that recognize the impact of these activities on individuals and the communities in which they live.
As a sports science student, you can get involved in coaching and training across a number of sports – working with adult and kids teams at different levels. Bring Physical education to children in schools that don’t have PE programs, inspire future athletes to maximize their talents and work alongside local coaches to improve skills.
If you are focused on therapy and movement, you can intern in placements focused on Physical therapy, dance therapy and rehabilitation programs.
If your interests lie in recreation and tourism, we have placements in national parks, wildlife game reserves, ecotourism initiatives and community homestay programs that provide great insight into the growing field of sustainable travel and tourism.
