What was your greatest achievement [during your program]?

I was proud that I got out of the country and traveled all by myself and that I took an opportunity to intern abroad.

Did you feel you made a difference?

I was of service to the hospital at times and gained some valuable insight into the field of medicine.

What advice would you give future participants?

Ask a lot of questions and make yourself resourceful for your nurses to maximize your experience at the hospital.

What was your most memorable moment?

Probably the weekends traveling with my fellow interns. I would make it a point to make some friends with [other] interns because you’ll be spending a lot of time with them. We had some very cool adventures with each other and we all got along well which made the trip enjoyable.
