Jadon’s Morocco Experience
I think that the pre-travel checklist and the online portal that participants have access to prior to their departure is amazing. I think that Kaya is very good at communication and provides great support.

I have been enjoying my stay! My homestay Mom is a retired secretary for the University of Cape Coast and lived in Virginia for a few years so we can relate to each other about the US and life on a college campus.

My internship taught me more than I have learned in all of my classes and that really challenged me. It prepared me a lot for my future and I am excited to head into the Public Health field once I graduate.
Part of my internship, the doctor I worked with wanted to make sure I was able to multitask because often times you end up doing that in the field. I was able to work on my personal project, coordinate the handover, research different organizations, all while still doing my everyday school work through my university. It was very fulfilling to multitask and get everything down while helping others.
It was such an amazing experience to work as a teaching intern during my remote internship. I felt so connected with both the staff and the students. I’ve learned so much from them and I hope to be able to visit in person someday.
The cultural workshops were so much fun and gave me insight on the culture that I think is necessary when creating intercultural relationships. My favorite element of this remote internship experience were the friendships I have made from it. I hope that they stay with me forever!
I have gained new experiences on my remote internship like working on a new platform, using Intercom and learning how companies can use these resources.

I received commendation from my supervisors for completing all the work I did during a busy school year and I feel very proud of it!
Getting to talk to Moroccans and learning about their way of life was the highlight of my remote internship.
I feel that my greatest achievement was when I was able to recognize a need in the project that my supervisor was working on and I took care of it for him.

contributing to something really incredible!
It’s an amazing opportunity to work on something you’re truly passionate about and, at the same time,
have a flexible schedule. You can essentially work from anywhere on something you love while still
engaging with the culture and meeting some really dedicated, wonderful people!
