Kaya partners with Thailand Tourism to encourage more volunteers

Kaya are proud to announce that we have become official partners of Thailand tourism authority in the “Little Big Project” campaign launched this week. The campaign as been set up to encourage more volunteer participation in the various community and environmental initiatives that are running across the country that need more help.

Thailand tourism is looking to encourage tourists to connect with Thai people at a local, community level and, in doing so, gain a better understanding of the real Thai culture. As part of the campaign, they are running a competition for one lucky international winners to get partnered with a lucky Thai winner to travel together on a two week volunteer adventure in Thailand.

Kaya are very proud to be involved with this initiative and happy to see a tourism authority giving recognition to the responsible travellers that are looking to combine their travels with an opportunity to make a difference by volunteering in Thailand.

Over the past few years, Thailand has been one of Kaya’s most popular destinations, with our human trafficking initiative, our work with the hilltribe communities and our teaching programmes being a great example of connecting the the local communities. Our elephant welfare programmes and marine conservation initiatives also provide an opportunity for conservation volunteers to get hands-on with Thailand’s wildlife and natural environment on land and in the sea.
